Date Movie plays good as two of the six writers of Scary Movie have done a good movie to watch on the back of a cocktail napkin while it is on the way from the hotel to the movie set. It actually sets out to apply Scary Movie's horror in this movie

It's not so worse as Scary Movie as this movie took some of the serious films and tried to make them so funny to watch, while scary movies take already fun films and makes them completely unfunny to watch. we are sure that's not what it is going for; the plot must be like to make them even funnier. But there's always a hope of doing that, when the movie was working with the two of the six writers of Scary Movie. Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer aren't so bad.
